About Ironhorse
Ironhorse Campground isn't just a place to park — it's a destination for travelers who refuse to compromise between comfort and the wild.
Located in the heart of Angels Camp, California, our campground sits where the Sierra Nevada foothills rise gently from the San Joaquin Valley floor. Here, you'll find shaded sites beneath ancient valley oaks, full hookups for your RV, and the kind of silence that only comes when the pines are tall and the road is far behind you.
Whether you're passing through on the way to Yosemite, settling in for a weekend of hiking in Calaveras Big Trees, or simply looking for a home base to explore the Gold Country trails, Ironhorse is where the road rewards you.
